Re: Ed Gein Death Pictures & Crime Scene Photos
eddie learned about it from darold strege, the psychiatric officer in charge of his unit at central state, who had heard the news that morning on the radio as he was getting ready to leave for work. strege's shift began at six. Am., and gein was still asleep when strege arrives at the hospital. unsure about how the little man would react, strege waiting until gein had risen, dressed, & finished his breakfast before informing him of the news. for the rest of his days, strege would remeber eddies response. it consistedof only three words, but they suggested to strege that perhaps there might have been some truth after all to the stories that other, greators horrors had been hidding away in the walls of eddies home, horrors that were now forever safe from discovery. strege took gein aside. "your house has burned down, eddie," he said as gently as possible. Eddie paused for a moment then answered quietly. "just as well," he said. my contribution are the pictures related and my thought!~ notice the difference in the image in 1957 is put to trial and caught for robbing graves, ect, ect. point!~ he lives with no electricity, & with an outhouse~living on tin beans/soups and old woman scraps. and then then image of a older stouter eddie gein sourrounded by reporters as he is led into waushara county courthouse for his trial in 1968.!~living in a mental home with television and 3 square meals? (!! its worth noting in the story of ed gein ~ that when they bury him next to his parents its in one of three graveyards that he plundered.) comments///??? suggestions?? |

Re: Ed Gein Death Pictures & Crime Scene Photos
i have many books on the subjects of serial killers, in particular ed gein- mostly peices of his confession, peices of the autopsy on bernice worden, and some quotes and general information all very fun reading but all long- and enough to make one complain because you dont have enough pictures. a year after eddie's transfer to mendota, a particularly gruesome murder took place in milwaukee. an eighty-six-year old woman named halen lows was found bludgeoned to death in her bedroom. her eyes had been gouged out, and slits had been cut into her face, apparently to an attempt to peel the skin off the skull. the suspect arrested for the crime turned out to be a former mental patient named pervis smith, who in 1974, had been committed to the central state hospital. there, he told police, he'd learned all kinds of interesting things about murder, mutiliation, & the manufacture of human face masks from his best friend at the hospital, ' Little Eddie' Gein. |

Re: Ed Gein Death Pictures & Crime Scene Photos
I saw a show on TV about that guy.... I took notice of some of the books that they used as "evidence". Two of them were earlier editions of books that I used in Mortuary School. Shame... he would have made an excellent "legal" mortician! |
