Drug Cartel Boss El Pirata's Wake Video Surfaces Online
A video has surfaced from the wake of a drug cartel boss of the Cartel de Sinaloa in Mexico. Jesús Francisco Sarrazin Lorh, also known as "El Pirata" (The Pirate), was a notable figure within the Sinaloa Cartel, a prominent drug trafficking organization in Mexico. El Pirata tragically passed away during an illegal drag race in Sonora, Mexico, on November 25. The accident occurred on a racetrack in Hermosillo, Sonora. Shocking footage from the scene depicted El Pirata's car speeding along the track before it crashed into a retaining wall and flipped over. The vehicle reportedly experienced a mechanical failure, which prevented braking. El Pirata was not only a central figure within the Sinaloa Cartel, but he also led Los Salazar, an armed wing of the cartel. He rose through the ranks of the criminal organization, initially overseeing drug trafficking in the town of Huatabampo and later in Hermosillo, the state capital of Sonora. His influence and stature within the cartel were significant, and he was a top target for Sonora's state police. There was even a warrant out for his arrest on charges of kidnapping. Apart from his criminal activities, El Pirata was known for his passion for high-speed motorsports. This interest was so prominent that it was immortalized in a narcocorrido, a subgenre of Mexican ballad music that often focuses on drug trafficking. The song "I Am A Pirate" by Edgardo Núñez references El Pirata's love for the adrenaline rush of racing and other high-risk activities |
