I wonder if people's reactions to this post would be the same if the genders of those involved was reversed... Would proof of domestic violence against the woman be required for society to believe she killed the man because he was beating her? Would people react the same way to the "tough guy", or would they cheer her on?
I think the public reaction to the Jodi Arias case would answer that question. She claimed her boyfriend was punching her and being abusive. Her story didn't add up any better than this guy's, and no one was cheering her on- DR members tore that bitch to shreds. There's no double standard here. At least not about this.

If he didn't kill his wife/go to jail, he would have fit right in within Hollywood..
