Death Pictures of Keith Warren From 1986
In the summer of 1986, 19-year-old Keith Warren met an untimely death that left more questions than answers. Keith, living with his sister and mother since his parents' divorce when he was 10, had appeared to have a promising future ahead of him. However, his life took a devastating turn. On July 31, 1986, paramedics made a grim discovery. Keith was found hanging by the neck in a wooded area behind his family's townhouse. The circumstances surrounding his death raised eyebrows, with many wondering what had truly happened. The scene itself appeared suspicious to some, with a complex arrangement of the hanging rope. Yet, the county's deputy medical examiner quickly concluded it was a suicide, and no autopsy was ordered. However, Mary Couey couldn't shake off her doubts. Her journey for the truth began when she learned that Keith had been visited by several suspicious individuals before his death, including individuals who did not fit into his usual circle of friends. A friend named Rodney Kendell reported strange encounters with people searching for Keith, and another acquaintance, Mark Finley, seemed unusually urgent in his search for Keith shortly before the tragedy. Weeks after Keith's death, Mary's attempt to locate the tree where her son was found hanging revealed another unsettling surprise. The tree had been cut down by the police, which left her puzzled and concerned about the integrity of the investigation. It was only years later, on Keith's birthday in 1992, that Mary received a mysterious envelope containing five photographs of her son's lifeless body hanging from a tree. These photos led to a shocking revelation – Keith was wearing someone else's clothing, particularly white sneakers. This discrepancy raised significant questions about the circumstances surrounding his death. Private investigator Joe Alercia joined the quest for answers and noticed even more inconsistencies. Leaves on the back of Keith's shirt indicated he may have been lying on the ground before being hoisted into a hanging position by someone else. The complex path of the rope used also suggested a more complicated scenario than initially thought. Eventually, Keith's body was exhumed for an autopsy, which uncovered high levels of toxic chemicals commonly found in glue and solvents. These chemicals, at lethal levels, challenged the official suicide ruling. The chief medical examiner attributed the chemicals to the embalming process, but this explanation was met with skepticism. Dr. Isidore Mihalakis, a forensic pathologist, disagreed with the embalming explanation, highlighting inconsistencies in the distribution of the chemicals and the presence of substances unrelated to embalming solutions. He argued that Keith Warren's death was medically unsupported as a suicide. The mystery deepened as questions arose about where these toxic chemicals originated. Joe Alercia proposed theories involving drug-related incidents or a potential attack. However, the truth remained elusive. In a final, disturbing twist, Mark Finley, one of the individuals who had been searching for Keith shortly before his death, received a threatening note attached to one of the photographs. The note ominously stated, "Don't worry, Mark Finley will be next." Mark Finley died under suspicious circumstances shortly thereafter. This case was never reopened and remains closed. |

Yes. 'Coz each time I get home from a family outing, I'd like to check the tree out back. Totally plausable.
