These chemicals, at lethal levels, challenged the official suicide ruling. The chief medical examiner attributed the chemicals to the embalming process, but this explanation was met with skepticism.

In a final, disturbing twist, Mark Finley, one of the individuals who had been searching for Keith shortly before his death, received a threatening note attached to one of the photographs.
