The Dead Body of Clarence Shaffer in 1937
Clarence Lee Shaffer Jr. was a member of the Brady Gang and was killed by law enforcement authorities on Central Street on October 12th, 1937 at about 8:30 a.m. Shaffer was 21 years old at the time. He was the driver of the gang's car. In the image, Shaffer is shown lying parallel to old trolley tracks in essentially an east-west position with his head facing westerly. Other Information:  · |

There's none of that romance, or top drawer photography, when the police shoot one of the modern versions of those dipshits around here today. Or, more likely, when they shoot each other (pretty common occurrence) at the local pool hall, restaurant, or video game emporium.  |
