That's an impressive wound. When I was working as a medic, I ran on a call of an ATV rider who had ridden into a strand of barbed wire at about 45 mph. Very similar neck destruction.

Every one in that situation was cranked up to the max, perp oj and the victims. It took a long time for meth to be recognized - it went under the radar, everyone was focused on crack. Media, news, rap - even a couple of incredibly ill founded exploitation flicks. But it was there in the clubs and party culture. Not just the trailer parks.
