Yeah, that's basically what the liberals are pushing for here. As JUST the next step. Semi automatic handguns are made for self defense as are many other semi automatics. And we have tournaments where various semi autos are used, etc. Just because it's a semi auto, that doesn't mean it's meant to murder people.

When it's all said and done, it's not about saving lives anyhow. It's about government control. Anyone who believes that banning any type of firearms is about saving lives is delusional. If the goal was to REALLY save lives, they would ban all vehicles effective immediately and all pesticides and GMO's that are murdering millions of people.

Yet instead of those things that kill people by the millions, we argue about gun control because of mass shootings which ultimately kill only a few dozen people a year. It's yet more retardation that the public swallows hook line and sinker. Humanity as a whole is NOT smart. Not in the least. People will believe whatever bullshit the bought and paid for government and media shovel down their throats.

A husband and wife who shot and killed 14 people at a holiday work party in San Bernardino, California, last week withdrew a loan from a Utah bank shortly before the shooting, the Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday.

The newspaper cites unnamed sources who say Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik took out $28,500 from Salt Lake-headquartered WebBank "just weeks" before the deadly incident, which has since been condemned as an act of terrorism.

Separate unnamed sources said investigators believe the couple used the money to purchase two rifles used in the attack, pay for pipe bomb materials later found in their home, arrange for target practice at a gun range and acquire a rental vehicle, the Times reports.

Terry Fahn, a spokesman for WebBank, issued a statement Tuesday saying he could not discuss specific loans, but added the bank will work with "agencies investigating this matter."

"Our hearts and prayers go out to the victims and everyone else impacted by the tragedy in San Bernardino. WebBank evaluates all loan applications in accordance with legal requirements, including U.S. anti-terrorism and anti-money-laundering laws," Fahn said in the statement.

"In addition, the bank continually works with regulators to address their inquiries and concerns, and will fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies investigating this matter. However, federal and state law prevents WebBank from publicly commenting on any specific loan borrowers or applicants. As such, the bank will have no further comment at this time."

WebBank was founded in 1997 and finances individuals and businesses across the United States, according to the company's website.
