They did it to scare the living shit out of people. The firing in empty rooms and pipe bombs were also used as a tactic to scare people.

Re: Columbine Victim's Death & Crime Scene Pictures
I doubt it was to scare people at that point. Columbine was supposed to be a bombing, not a school shooting. I think it's more likely that the original rush and adrenaline wore off and they just didn't know where to go with it since their original plan failed. During the so-called 'quiet' phase, they tried shooting the propane bombs that they planted in the cafeteria - they were still trying to destroy the school. When that didn't happen, I think they essentially lost interest for want of a better way to put it.

They went to a place where every one was defenseless and killed themselves to avoid facing the cops who would and could fight back. That is a pussy.

Re: Columbine Victim's Death & Crime Scene Pictures
On the surface you're right but when you dig deeper you start to understand how they lost it. But what I'll never get is why they killed at random. Wouldn't it make more sense to kill the ones responsible for your anger and suffering? The guy who bullied them the most wasn't killed that day and they even let a well known jock live. Their actions were very weird to say the least. |

No they were not. Dylan's parents had no idea what was going on in his head and knew nothing about what he was planning to do. The jury is out on the Harrises, especially the dad. He knew what Eric was like, yet he always made excuses for him. Read Brooks Brown's book. It answers a lot of questions, as well as Sue Klebold's book.
