Isn't it funny that I start to fascinate with their case all of a sudden?

Normally, I didn't care about the mass shooting until later in this month...curiosity got me looking into this case after I noticed references about them and wanted to know why they were so famous.

Not just that, kids are idolizing the shooters as well. Hell, there was this one crazy chick that posted her videos about Eric Harris on YouTube, declaring her love for him and showing off her room with numerous pictures of Eric...including Eric's head picture printed in her pillowcase and something like that. I think her videos got reported and have been deleted or something. :|

I think the kids got their heads cool down after being so angry at the rest of the world and came to realize that this wasn't a game...it was real. Not their imagination. Everything was real and what they did was real. With their mental issues and with all those negative stuffs like music, games or diaries with nothing good about their lives just fed on them...esp Eric. I know Eric was a bad influence on Dylan. PLUS Eric stopped taking his medications for a bit BEFORE he went on a mass murder...which wasn't a good sign since being off the meds could make him even more homicide...since it was so sudden. Hence why there was a few of meds inside his corpse or whatever the autopsy was. Anyways, what was I'm saying that maybe once they got cool off and realized how fucked they were with their actions and maybe they felt "guilty" for what they did and planned to kill themselves in their own twisted yet cowardice way without turning themselves in to the police.

Also, some investigators thought it was possibly Eric that did that to Dylan and made it seem like a suicide...since Dylan was the left hander...not right hander which was strange since his right temple was already blown up by some gun.

Not just that, many witnesses reported there were more than just two of them. One was the chiseled face man and the other was 30 year old man...according to the investigators. Maybe they got confused. Who knows.

And I notice that this event took on April 20th, 1999 and that gave me creeps since that was when I was wondering about the infamous Columbine High School Shootings in this month and I've been thinking about 4/20 all of a sudden for no reasons.

I'm surprised the school is still up! BTW, thanks for the PDF. :D

They never planned to be captured both killers knew it would end in their suicides. I do agree that the realization of what they were doing possibly led them to not shoot other people after the library massacre.

Yeah, you're right.

This whole psychological thing interests me. I would love to be in their minds sometimes and why they were that way.

I've been reading Dylan's mother's story about her son just now and it's confirmed...Eric was a definitely bad influence on Dylan. I still have not finish it, yet. Apparently, the mother tried to end Dylan's relationship with Eric since they wouldn't stop getting in serious trouble whenever they were together.

Eric was a toxic friend to Dylan in my opinion. I wonder what would've happened if the two killers did not meet each other and the Columbine High School Shootings would've been prevented.

Dylan's mother was upset by the fact that everyone assumed Eric was Dylan's "only friend" which wasn't true since Dylan does have a couple of friends.

But man, I don't know about Eric. Something about him that makes me dislike him ever since I first saw his picture. Like what's with his weird obsession with raping women and all.

Does anyone have more info about Eric that could explain his behavior? Is Mr. Browns's book explaining more about two killers? And what their life at the high school was like?

Reading Sue's book has opened my eyes even more. Learning that Dylan told her that Eric was crazy and that all he cared about was committing suicide and that the attacks were his second alternative to traditional suicide.

To know that he at one time was attempting to distance himself from Eric. I think Dylan participated in the attacks because he didn't want to die alone.

I was bullied all through school, and a group of 9 people jumped me, but I didn't go around shooting people or taking revenge. I used to chat with Reb on Dalnet trading doom custom .wads, we all used Dalnet as the main 3 were Undernet, Efnet, and Dalnet. Only Dalnet had nickserv/chanserv the other 2 didn't so we could claim our nicks with nickserv. Reb, me and 10 others were ops.

He had a "blog" on AOL before blogs existed. And before ads (I miss the "original pre web2.0 social media net") course Ive been on internet since 1991 pre web. Gopher/Archie, telnet, FTP, irc, slip, shells, talk/ytalk were the goto tools. Anyhow he had been taking Prozac and it was definitely screwing him up removing filters. It went from the normal " shooting and blowing up school" jokes back then to be barely logged in anymore.

My highschool had a student smoking section until 92. And if you had hunting license, hunters safety course, parent signature, and good grades you could bring gun to school during hunting season but you had to leave your keys at office. We had sooo much freedom.

But around 93-94 giving kids antidepressants became "a thing" and once then every single school shooter has been on a SSRI. They even wanted to put me on lithium cause I got into fights but being on weight lifting team I was "bit more dangerous" I was told but I refused. Although I got paddlings even in my senior year in front of class I still was a honor grad.

But I graduated 2 years before Columbine and was already in my 2nd year of college.

Eric didn't take prozac. He was taking Luvox. It is an SSRI and was used to treat OCD, anxiety, depression, ptsd...and other off label things. Eric supposedly used it to manage his anger.

Have any proof that you talked to him? There are so many people that claim to have talked to Eric on aol, or game servers. I highly doubt very many did. I also find it completely ridiculous to think that Eric gave enough personal information for people to automatically know it was him when columbine happened.

Im not saying you are one of the liars, just wondering if you still had any proof. I havent found one person yet that can prove it.

Dylan participated in the massacre because he wanted to. Look at the transcript from the Basement Tapes. He was just as much a part of the planning process as Eric was as well. Sue got her information from Dr Peter Langman and Dave Cullen. Im not surprised she tried to blame Eric. She was Dylan's mother, of course she would look for someone else to blame.

The massacre was actually DYLAN's idea. He was writing about going NBK with the girl he had a crush on, and his best friend, Zack. He was writing about that in 1997. A full year before he got close with Eric.

I have been researching Columbine for over a decade, and I really wish others would research as well, before forming an opinion on the case or either of the perpetrators.

I've seen many say it was Dylan's idea since he wrote down wanting to carry out an attack with others about two years before the massacre, but honestly, who's to say Eric wasn't thinking similar thoughts? Dylan's earliest stuff dates to 1997, and Eric didn't start writing things down until '98, but my guess is thoughts cropped up in both their heads even before then. I mean, granted, I'm not saying Dylan couldn't of have given the idea to Eric, that absolutely could of happened. But Eric could have had these same thoughts going on at that time, and just didn't feel the need to keep a journal until later. Like this was a mutual dislike for the school and the people that formed into an actual plan.
