It doesn't make sense to me that if you find your child/grandchild dead, floating in a pool, your reaction is to try and cover it up by putting her body in a garbage bag and tossing her it into the woods. The little boy opened the back glass sliding door and rode his trike straight into the swimming pool and drowned. His mom said she had ran upstairs for just a min. and it all just happened so fast. It just seems unnatural for that to be the reaction of not just Caylee's mom but her Papaw too. I just don't think we'll ever know what really happened to that child but I definitely believe that whatever it was at the hands of Casey.

like you said before. at the autopsy they could have found high dosages of xanax. no prescription for a child that young. the family preferred no questions asked and helped to dispose. instead the police found zenaida gonzalez instead of the xanniez. i would have expected after she made LE look stupid someone would have leaked her location by now

She's 100% guilty of murdering her child. 'Xanny the nanny" was her way of drugging her kid so she could not have to be a parent. The whole court case was a fiasco. Prosecution sucked and defense attorney just threw shit at the wall to see what would stick. He contradicted himself so much it makes your head spin.

and i agree with shoottokill, it's not going to be all rainbows and unicorns for Casey Anthony now that she's been found "innocent". people will try to get to her, hurt her, or even kill her. for sure.

Florida DA over estimated the indisputable evidence a jury needs for a Death Penalty verdict. Baez is a scum bag but easily poked holes in almost every single piece of evidence presented by the the prosecution. Casey's own father thinks she deserves the death penalty but it's what you can prove. If Caylee's body, which was right around the corner from the Anthony house, was found 4 months earlier, Casey would be on death row right now ... shame!

The only reason why the jury aquitted her was because the prosecution simply did not have a cause of death.

That being said, I have read the books of both the Prosecutor and the Defence. The former offered nothing new and was basically ripped from the headlines. While the latter was far more compelling with a lot of information that the media didn't print.

I believe it was George Anthony that killed her — accidently or otherwise — and got Casey to keep schtum.

This was definitely one of those media lynching cases fueling public opinion, which then dictated the actions of the govt officials who ultimately report to elected officials.

The info in the defense book showed:
1. Plausible scenarios for Casey not being the killer
2. Actions by the cops, prosecution and judge to railroad Casey and not consider alternatives to a matricide

Some of the alternative scenario theories:

• Casey's father potentially being a chronic (daily) sexual abuser of Casey as a child, when the wife was working
• Casey creating a fictional nanny and day job in order to remove both Casey and her child Caylee from threat of daily sexual abuse by Casey's father
• Casey, being a pathological liar, may have told her father that he impregnated her and was the father of her daughter Caylee. This may have been to manipulate her father into stopping the incest, not exposing the fictional stories, giving her money, etc.
• Casey's father, if he suspected that he fathered Caylee, would have a motive for killing Caylee, or for disposing of the body if Caylee had accidentally drowned in the family pool
• If Casey was a chronically sexually abused child, she may have developed deep-rooted psychosis, irrational behavior, memory losses, etc. especially if she feared the same abuses toward her daughter Caylee, or discovered that Caylee had drowned in the family pool
• (This last theory is my own) If Casey has a deep-rooted psychosis that is part of her make-up (meaning her father is guiltless of any wrongdoing), Caylee may have accidentally drowned in the family pool, which may have triggered Casey to bury the body in a nearby woods, slip into her fictional world, and black out the memory Caylee's death

It has already been stated that the truth will never be known for this case, and I agree. However, there are feasible alternatives to matricide, and the fact that Casey exhibited deep rooted psychological traits (alternative reality, pathological liar) adds viability to the alternative theories.

Despite all of the theories, one fact prevails: Casey was tried and found not guilty of murder.

I encourage anybody with a negative opinion of Casey stemming from the media lynching to read the defense book (Presumed Guilty by Jose Baez), and see if that opinion remains. Skip over Jose's stupid memoir sections, which are not too numerous. Otherwise, the book is a good read and has info hidden from the media coverage, regarding the alternative theories, undisputed observations of Casey as a loving mother in all of her interactions with Caylee, and despicable handling of the case by a variety of government officials who are supposed to carry the public trust.

I think the kid was unsupervised by either the dad or Casey and they covered it up, but I think Casey was gleeful over the fact that her baby was gone and now on her new show, all the tears are because she feels guilty.
I hold her mom a bit accountable too, so controlling and domineering, she forced Casey to keep the pregnancy which was either a 1 night stand or if we believe the new documentary, a child conceived of rape.

Think George was involved somehow. Why was he in the courtroom every day being a witness??? Guess it's different there in Florida. He played a big part there, I mean he was a distraction when he would react to something important. Honestly think that George knew what happened and told Casey to just act normal
