On July 22, 2015, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma two brothers, Robert Bever, 18, and Michael Bever, 16, were responsible for the brutal murder of their own family.

The two teenagers murdered their parents, David and April Bever, as well as three of their siblings. They also attempted to kill another sister, who survived the attack. The nature of the crimes was particularly gruesome, involving fatal stabbings that horrified both the community and the nation.

Following the murders, both Robert and Michael Bever were charged with five counts of first-degree murder. The legal proceedings that followed resulted in Michael Bever being sentenced to five consecutive life sentences. His older brother Robert had previously pled guilty to his role in the attacks.

The photos of the home being demolished was due to a fire that destroyed the house. The mayor wants to turn their property into a memorial park for the community to remember the victims by.

The brothers were physically and mentally abused by their retard parents, completely isolated from other kids, and assaulted with religious idiocy permeating every aspect of their lives. It is no surprise their mental state and personalities were warped so badly. These kids had no chance at living normal lives in a normal environment. This was the end result of what their parent's subjected them to over the course of their lifetimes. None of us would come out even remotely normal from an environment like that.
