Hard to say, that idiot with the shoebomb and the guy that had a bomb in his underwear were pretty amateur and had al quada links. I just hope to fuck that there is no link to Iran or North Korea, because it would be a good excuse for a war. |

I feel so sad for the guy with the legs blown off/wheelchair guy. you know that guy loves to run. His life is shattered. I hope he has as good of a recovery as possible.

God, my worst fear is that this was a foreign terrorist attack, especially North Korea...I'm actually hoping this was some motherfucker like McVeigh, so at least there won't be a chance of getting into yet ANOTHER war...  |

So we are all agreed that they were just simple old fashioned pimp bombs right? And from all the pictures and people talking about things that don't matter I heard one sane guy on the news saying that they came out of trashcans... So some guy had a delayed fuse on some pimp bombs, walking down the sidewalk behind the stands where it was nice a crowded, dropped one into a trash can. Then kept walking down the sidewalk and dropped another one into another trashcan. why the went off staggered like that. Sounds like some local nut. |

It said on the news that the FBI was subpoenaing all of the local cell towers too, maybe they were set to go off from a phone call? I dunno. In Iraq a lot of the IED's were triggered by Phone calls. |

I've heard so many conflicting stories on the news and other media about how there were 20 or even 50 supposed bombs on one NBC brodcast, that until I see something solid about other explosives being found I'm not going to guess.

I think in set down bags/something. If dropped in the garbage, they would be at different levels and the odds of them both going off flat and pointed at legs only is slim.
