Re: Boeing 737 HELIOS Crash Scene in Greece

I have a question for anyone who is a pilot or know how to fly a plane like this; could a passenger (without any experience as a pilot) have been able to fly the plane and landed it safely ?

Many of the bodies are in poses that suggest extraordinary flexibility.

Possibly some sort of Yoga junket?
It's called Lackof Pilotes.

This plane crashed at a lower speed and at a lower angle. The plane that hit the Pentagon hit a solid wall at ~500mph head on. This hit at a fairly shallow angle at a somewhat lower speed. The angle and speed of impact (and to some extent the terrain impacted -- trees are more forgiving than rocks) makes a big difference in the amount of destruction.
