Utter devastation. And to think that most of the victims photographed here were still strapped in their seats when the plane hit the ground. No matter what safety precautions are provided for in an aircraft, survival will always depend on luck of the draw. Excellent post.  |

Poor firemen who had to clean that mess up. The smell, the dry heat and the flies. Hell on earth. Was there a formal Greek request to take these photos down? The email shown earlier in this thread looks like it. |

My uncle and his wife were on this flight. And I was flying back to ny a few hours after it happened and it sucked. Scariest plane ride ever.
