Re: Aaliyah Death & Pictures From The Crash Scene
From Newspapers.com Circa August 28, 2001- September 1, 2001 First IMG: The bodyguard saying there was too much "stuff" on the plane. Second IMG: Statement about Aaliyah's representatives who usually travelled with her, who allegedly tried to overload the first plane going to the Bahamas. Third IMG: Witnesses who saw the occupants of the plane. Fourth IMG: Reports of an engine catching fire. My theory is: there weren't any weight regulations around that time. The airports that Aaliyah travelled to in Florida and the Bahamas had no weight regulations. Aaliyah was not travelling with her usual companions, who would be her mother, brother, or father. She probably was homesick and wanted to just go, and probably, since there were no weight regulations or her usual adult influence, took whatever fit on the plane. Whatever happened between the airport and them getting on the plane is basically under wraps, not sure. I will keep this forum updated. |

Re: Aaliyah Death & Pictures From The Crash Scene
My final theory on this plane crash which I believe is in or within the final report: Aaliyah or her crew charted the plane last minute because she wanted to go and her portions of her video was done which was fair. The plane that she arrived in was bigger than the already chartered plane, and the plane they ordered was 2 hours late. How the pilot even got to the Bahamas with the amount of maintenance needed was beyond me. But there was no cargo so it was likely. The pilot probably saw the group of passengers and cargo and said nothing or they mentioned they needed to bring all of their equipment and he went with it. That portion of the ntsb is not available in the US. the pilot did not weigh any baggage but placed on the aircraft. I believe he put the 2 heaviest people in the rear to balance out the weight in the front, and when he tried to take off he stalled; only got 40 feet in the air and that’s very dangerous and uncontrollable. The aircraft couldn’t handle all the weight. Unfortunate but 100 percent pilot error. I’m not sure why I keep seeing people say pill and Beyoncé but that was highly unlikely. |
