Aaliyah Death & Pictures From The Crash Scene
Aaliyah Dana Haughton, known professionally as Aaliyah, was an American singer, actress, and model, celebrated for her contributions to both music and film. Born on January 16, 1979, in Brooklyn, New York, she gained fame in the mid-1990s with her smooth voice and innovative music, often associated with the R&B, pop, and hip-hop genres. Aaliyah's life was cut short on August 25, 2001, in a plane crash in The Bahamas. She had traveled there to shoot the music video for her song "Rock the Boat." After completing the shoot, Aaliyah and her entourage, which included members of her record company and video production crew, boarded a twin-engine Cessna 402B at Marsh Harbour Airport on Abaco Islands, destined for Opa-locka Airport in Florida. Shortly after takeoff, the aircraft crashed and caught fire about 200 feet from the end of the runway. Aaliyah and eight others on board were killed instantly. |

That was really sad. Such a waste of all those lives and it was 100% preventable. They overloaded the plane so much and the pilot knew it, but let them pressure him into departing and this is the result. So many lives destroyed for nothing. |

No, the second pic is. Kind of a 'no-frills' affair. Btw, that's a recycling bag she's in there. Girl was very environmentally conscious, doncha know.
