Re: A Race Fail/death Comp.
Because if your body isn't fit enough to withstand a crash you die. F1 drivers do triathlons and weight training to just drive the car. there is so much more to driving than people relize. I'm just saying a lot of athletes under play motorsports.

Re: A Race Fail/death Comp.
I remember an episode of Top Gear where Hammond was driving an F1, and within a few minutes he was sweating like a pig and could barely get out of the car after just a couple of laps... once he managed to not stall or spin the car. It's physically demanding.

Re: A Race Fail/death Comp.
[I]Your right Coppertop . All motor sport drivers/ motor bike racers need to be in great physical condition. Try doing a few lapses in a Go Kart will certainly sort out the non fit ones real quick. All F1 Drivers are great athletes. Mark Webber [now retired] is always in top peak physical condition. Bring on the 2014 season of racing. Moto GP, F1, Supercars, Dakar Rally and the race that sorts the men from the boys Isle of Man TT |
