Never heard of him either although I've seen the KO all over. Was never really into Japaneze mma. One of these days I'll have to buy Pride FC dvd's from day one.

Holy shit there is some awesome match ups coming up, way too many to name but the few huge ones I am really looking forward too... José Aldo vs Frankie Edgar This has been a dream match up for me since Maynard III, I was pretty bummed at the last decision because I honestly thought Frankie won and I am beginning to dislike Bendo more and more but with this match up being made it makes up for everything. I love Edgar and Aldo so don't know who I'll be cheering for till fight time... I think Aldo takes this though. Georges St. Pierre vs Carlos Condit While I was pretty pissed off at Carlos for the Diaz fight, time heals all wounds and I am excited too see him return to his former glory and come out guns blazing against GSP. I am also interested too see how Georges comes back. I think GSP will take this via Grapple fuck. Benson Henderson vs Nate Diaz Diaz brothers are my 2 favourite fighters in the sport, hands down. This is easily the fight I am looking forward too most, but it's pretty far away and thinking about it gives me a hard on for a few days so I am trying to pace myself. Diaz via whatever he wants. Mauricio Rua vs Alexander Gustafsson Legend V Prospect, Gustafsson's boxing and speed reminded me tons of BW Champ Dominick Cruz, but a much larger version. I think Gus takes this via Decision. Quinton Jackson vs Glover Teixeira Same as Shogun V Gus, but Teixeira is much older then Gus. Rampages last stand in the UFC, would of prefered too see him against Shogun for his last fight but Glover is a scary man, I think he will make Rampage look every bit the flat footed boxer he has turned into. how about you guys? |

I am looking forward too all of the following as well, was going to post Hettes but if I delved into those waters I would of been here all night, have been a huge fan of the kid since I seen his fight with Bruce Leeroy on facebook prelims. Can't wait for the K1 fights as always, not as pumped as I have been other years... Hari is going too jail and won't participate in any K1 so that's pretty much bummed me out for the future events... Talk of John Wayne Parr VS Buakaw in a cage with MMA gloves, full Thai rules, if this this happens... even though it most likely never will!  I will fly to any destination on earth to watch it...

I hate to say it but I think Aldo is gonna make Edgar look really bad. Aldo is gonna kick Frankie's legs 3 good times in the first round and it's gonna take all of his bounce and speed away from him and the fight will go downhill from there. I like frankie but I don't think he's the guy to beat Aldo. Am pumped for GSP / Condit, hope GSP beats Condits ass. I hope GSP puts Condit on his ass and just drops bombs on him from the top, maybe mixes in some elbows for shits and giggles. Bendo and Nate, I'm with you homie. Bendo lost that last fight to Frankie. I'm tired of hearing how Bendo's never been finished, I hope Nathan puts his hands on him like he did Gomi and Miller. Soften him up with the hands to setup the BJJ and finish it. Shogun / Gustafsson I have no idea what will happen. Shogun is still one of the toughest fighters on the planet, If Gus gets through him I'll be impressed. Rampage / Texeria, this is the fight Page has been asking for. Glover is more than happy to stand and bang. I'm a big Rampage fan so I hope he comes to fight and not just to get paid. Some others Cub Swanson/Charles Oliveira Travis Browne/Bigfoot Silva Rich Franklin/Chung Le Lombard/Palhares BJ Penn/Rory Mac And TUF 16, both Diaz brothers are coaching with Big Country, not sure how much they'll be on but it should be interesting. |
