Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
That's a first, always hear about it but never see actually work. That guy should gone forward and crowded the dancing fellow. All that freezing and going backwards just gives him the space he needs to throw wild elaborate kicks. Entertaining none the less.

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
I don't he should have did that, if you look at the score-cards of who won which rounds i'd have to agree, all 3 judges had it the way I saw it, Pacquiao winning the first 3 or 4, maybe stealing a couple of the middle rounds by winning the last minute and then losing the last 4, call it a draw. Forget about the punch stats, Bradley thumped Pacquiao many times, harder than Pacquiao hit him, I thought Pacquiao was going to be KOed. Harold Lederman(the big know-it-all) had it 117-111 to Pacquiao, now that would have been disgraceful, everyone is pro Pacquiao because they think Mayweather/Pacquiao will be a good fight. If they have rematch I hope Bradley KTFO of him. |

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
Maybe he was talking about Marquez when he said 'it's rightful owner' With regard to punches landed and scoring, unless it causes a knock down or a cut a punch is a punch be it a jab or a right cross. If its a clean effective strike that's all that matters when it comes to scoring. Unless someone is cut or knocked down we have no real idea who hit harder and a fight shouldn't be judged based on that as it is in effect a opinion based on interpretation. Im not one to really buy into the medias evaluation of such matters but I have yet to see anyone say it was a fair result, at least with herbs Marquez fight there was a argument either way. Still haven't watch the fight again I must add |
