Re: DR's Official MMA Thread

Just stopping by to say "I can't wait to see GSP fight again!" He says he'll be back 'soon', anyone know what he really means? Is he even training yet? Of course I can look it up I just thought maybe someone here would know.
Georges road to recovery is ahead of schedule. He's working on his balance for 3-4 hours a day and recently cleared to box. He said to expect him to be fully cleared to train in July and back in the Octagon in November with a showdown with Carlos Condit.

Thanks!! That is going to be a fantastic fight. I wonder though, if he'll really be ready in November. Three to four months training is not long.

Awesome, that will be a chess match of who can look 'technical' while avoiding a fight.

Carlos running or George Saint Perree smothering.

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread

It was actually nice to see Chael act like a human for a couple hours, very surprised.

And I have no doubt that GSP will out "Condit" Carlos Condit. And then fucking destroy Johny Hendricks. Good times.

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread

A torn acl can fuck up your career quick. Shogun is a good example who had a similar injury and never came back the same. Time will tell but I think the playing field is pretty level right now.

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread

Melendez / Thompson fight was awesome. The HW final was a one sided ass whipping.
