UFC178 was an amazing card - glad to see Cruz back in action FINALLY.

Everyone say a prayer to the MMA Gods on behalf of Dominick's knee, maybe he can stay on the roster long enough to win two fights in a row, i'd like to see him make an honest run at getting his belt back.

God damn Cruz injured again! This time it’s in the right knee, opposite side of my first and second ACL injuries.

Looks like Hendricks and Lawler 3 in the works. The guy is a 3 round fighter. No one wants to see this cunt fight again.

In 2014, Lawler and MacDonald combine for 6-1 against top 10 WW. Hendricks is 1-1.

My friend texted me awhile back when the news broke - basically said,
"All is right in the universe again, Cruz is out with a knee injury."

Hey, the dude put on a helluva performance, he deserves another 4yr break.

There's nothing worse in sports than having your career cut short due to injuries imo. Especially when you're as good as Cruz is.

Yeah, fuckin bums me out that Cruz and Velasquez aren't able to fight at the moment when they are at the pinnacle of their abilities.
It's the nature of the beast though, these men have to push themselves to the absolute limit every day to maintain a competitive edge in MMA.
So many top tier fighters suffering from knee injuries these days.

Hell, look at the top guys at LightHeavyweight:

Jones, Cormier, and Gustafsson - all had hurt knees at the same time.

Good news is that most of these guys are coming back this year. Carlos Condit is another guy who's fighting style I respect and is targeting an early 2015 return after complete ACL replacement.

Since Hendricks is now getting the next title shot they should make Rory v Condit 2 in Canada.
