Re: DR's Official MMA Thread

All predictions right so far. The Sanchez and Melendez fight was fucking awesome.

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread

Cain vs JDS III went exactly how i thought it would.

Disappointed in Nelson not dropping a h-bomb on DC.

The big question is...

Can ANYONE defeat Cain "the Terminator" Velasquez...?

..does anyone thing Fabrício Verdum can step up to the challenge??

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread

I was very disappointed with the Nelson/DC fight. Cain made JDS straight up suffer the entire time, he did what he wanted to do and dragged him through one hell of a beating. A second time. No way Werdum has a chance, Cain is a beast. I don't see anyone taking the strap from Cain for a long time.

no! cain is a beast!! you should all be thankfull Im not a ref because I probably would have stopped that in round 3. I only watched the main card and it was a great event. I was supprised by cormier keeping it standing so much. The Melendez/sanchez fight was great. One of the more enjoyable cards I have seen recently. Have to give JDS credit for hanging on, a few nice elbow towards the end, great fucking fight, great fucking night

Roy and DC were boring... i was really hoping Roy was gonna step-up his game after losing to a decision the same way more than once. Seems like he's still relying on stalking and eating punches and throwing hay-makers.
DC put on his normal boring fight: a few bursts of wrestling, mixed with some striking, but mainly wrestle-fucking against the cage to play it safe.

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread

I didnt find it boring to be honest IMO this was one of those fights where the tension made it entertaining. It wasnt what I was expecting or hoped for but I wasnt bored. But what the fuck was joe rogan smoking because I want some 'these two guys are on their way to moving down to light heavyweight' hahahaha could you imagine what either would do to the LHW division. not to take into consideration the amount of DVD sales nelson would make at christmas with his 'how I dropped 50lbs while still drinking water'!!!

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread

Awesome card..

Diego, man.. missed chance after pulling off that wicked uppercut, great fight.
Thought JDS would have the KO over Cain, what a battle.

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread

Awesome restraint from Machida and great kick.

Tito "pulled out" because the PPV had NO buys. It was going to fail.
