come on man HALF!!!!! you know thats bull shit. There were a handfull of fixed fights and none with any meaning, there were a few fixed fights in the UFC as well lets not forget. I dont ever remember anyone getting fucked over by dodgy judging in pride but we could list our top 100 in the UFC. As for the steroid thing its different to a UFC fighter using it as it was not illegal or against the rules. If a fighter on steroids fights another fighter on steriods you cant really complain. From 1999 to 2006 Pride had the best and was the best MMA had to offer. |

shortly after i stopped watching and shortly before i started watching again. mma reminds me a bit of other sports, when it becomes too popular n competitive the stand out greats seem to disappear as everyone becomes a lot more balanced. i guess it is both good and bad for the sport. |
