I've been searching everywhere for this doc type vid on fighters cutting weight. On the extreme end, fighters cut up to 50 lbs the day before the bout and put most of it on the day of. This method was developed for athletes to sweat and lose rapid weight without wearing out their body. Painful but it also gives fighters an edge they need when they step in the cage. Man, I have no idea how the Belfort / AJ fight is gonna go. That could be war or 30 second fight. Ima thinking Jose Aldo is gonna kick one of Chad Mendes legs damn near clean off just to prove a point to the alpha male crew. And Ronda Rousey is the shit, I'm with you on that. |
