Re: My Experience with Sleep Paralysis - INCREDIBLE Experience

I had that once, It felt like i was sinking into my bed and for some reason I was petrified that I was going to be visited by a ghost for some reason and was freaking out because i couldnt move, as soon as I awoke I was like "shit that was fuckin' cool"...I tried to relive it by drinking copious amounts of booze the night before which sometimes does it, I was under stress at the time aswell so that was probably a highlighting factor. Its a fun experience though

Re: My Experience with Sleep Paralysis - INCREDIBLE Experience

If you want to regain movement you must focus on being in your body. Look up astral projection.

Your energy or soul(whatever you wanna call it, nothing religious here), has the ability to exit your body. When you are in this out-of-body state, as your energy, you will still perceive your perception of yourself. You can go anywhere you think of invisibly(energies perceive each other though), to the moon, spy on people etc. You think of being at a friends apartment, and you're there, watching him masturbate. You think of returning to your body, and you're back in your psychical body.

Your energy(consciousness) never dies, but it may not realize that the host body has died(limbo).

Everything in existence is frequencies at different wavelengths; what we perceive as solid is not solid at all in reality. We are all one consciousness experiencing itself from within. When we "die"(in 3-6 months for most people, sorry), we take all knowledge we've gathered through our lives in the psychical world to our collective consciousness.

The meaning of life is to collect knowledge.

Re: My Experience with Sleep Paralysis - INCREDIBLE Experience

man i got ghost bumps .... I had this thing happen to me couple of times... the strange thing is that all the times this happened I had similar or the same experience with the stories I read here. Which is so creepy....
Let me tell you what happened with me.
Once I remember waking up and it was early in the morning... the watch was next to me showing 6.00. I tried to get up but I couldn't move whatsoever... I was struggling .... but nothing happened.. all i could do is move my eyes... so I turned my vision to the window that is just next to my bed.. and at this second a nuclear bomb exploded in the horizon and I could see the mushroom... it was so real and I got so scared .. I can't describe you .. at that second I woke up and the watch next to me was showing again 6.00... i looked through the window but nothing happened...
I was so very impressed that all the things happened in my dream ... happened to me after I woke the second time for real.. the time was 6.00.. the sun in the room was 100% the same as in my dream .. the only thing missing was the nuclear mushroom. I was shaking all day since I really thought that I was seeing in the immediate future.
Second time I remember I was sleeping next to my wife.. I woke up it must had been in the middle of the night since it the room it was dark .. just the moonlight and the street light was throwing deem light around the room... just enough for me to see the tall thin shadow that was moving in the room towards the bed. I tried to shout ..nothing happened.. I tried to move ..again nothing.. all I could do is watch this creature move towards the bed.. I was totally paralyzed... I remember closing my eyes.. and that's is .. I must have fallen asleep again... In the morning when I woke up I was scared shittless.. and I could remember what happened in every detail. I am positive this wasn't a dream.
Couple of times it happened also to wake up in middle of night .. unable to move.. I always tried to move and wake up my wife .. but I could never do it .. I remember once being able to move just a little .. but this was after quite a struggle and using like 20000% of my will... every time I tried to scream to my wife to wake up ... never made a sound ... each time this happened I felt very scared and the feeling was quite bad ..but at the same time strangely I liked it .. can't really explain why.
I am seriously thinking this is not just a medical thing happening... I never read anything or watched a movie about that before ..so my mind can't have played a trick on me and make this up... first time I hear about this happening to other people was here on this forum.. now I am a bit scared since I am starting to believe this is something that happens and the human mind is too straight forward to comprehend.
Yes guys... we always try to explain stuff with science ..but let me tell you ... there is karma .. and there is something else in this world.. and if we wake up and happen to see it while it is next to our bed doing its thing... we are lucky.

Re: My Experience with Sleep Paralysis - INCREDIBLE Experience

I hate sleep paralysis. It's hereditry in my family on my Mother's side. My Grandmother had it a shitload.

I normally get it when I sleep on my back (which I hardly ever do!)

I'm so used to it now, when I "wake up" with it (that is, when my MIND wakes up) I just think "oh for fucks sake!"

I know that it was once thought that a Demon was pinning the person down (as already mentioned). Look below. Look! Look at that little shithead sitting on the poor lady. Yeah, you find it funny, you little shit!? Look at him giggling, the cunt. He needs a good old

Re: My Experience with Sleep Paralysis - INCREDIBLE Experience

This has been one of my favourite topics ever since I found out what it was, I love reading other people's stories of what happened when they experienced it.

Most seem to agree that even though the experience is truly terrifying, it's also very fascinating. I really want to experience this again but if I do, I know that I'll be shitting myself while it's happening. But afterwards I'll just be amazed at how awesome it was.

Re: My Experience with Sleep Paralysis - INCREDIBLE Experience

Damn, I got about a thousand words into the story and went into sleep paralysis myself!

Did you really need to give an hours pre-amble about what shyte you were watching on TV before you even started on the dream stuff ??

Re: My Experience with Sleep Paralysis - INCREDIBLE Experience

I'll post my "best" paralysis experience here next..I've told this one to quite a few people because it has stuck with me since.

I was sleeping/half awake facing the wall in my upstairs bedroom. It was about 5 a.m.

I hear rapid footsteps going up the stairs lightly..like a little kids' would be. My sister was young at the time so I figured it was her, and brushed it off. Then I hear the footsteps go into my room towards my bed..at this point I remember thinking "WTF is she doing?" but I continued to sleep.

Then it was as if the entity got on my bed and started jumping on it right beside me! I tried to wake up but for a few seconds couldn't..I started to panic and seriously thought it was now a ghost. Then I forced my eyes to open and satup all panicked and looked around the room.

For a few years I would tell people it was a ghost because I was unaware of sleep paralysis. And it just felt so real, the bed being pounded on up and down by someone. Anyway anytime I'm aware i'm having another one I can usually force myself up but I find myself I scream

Re: My Experience with Sleep Paralysis - INCREDIBLE Experience

I don't mean to resurrect an old post; I'm only a few days old on this site so please excuse me. However, I found this a highly interesting topic.

When I was younger, from as early as I can remember until my last episode back in 2009, I've suffered from sleep paralysis with auditory hallucinations. As to what it was caused by, I'm not entirely sure as no one in either side of my family have ever experienced such, and even doctors thought I was just mentally unstable and disregarded my "episodes" as psychotic breaks.

Each hallucination was different, except they always started the same, and as a previous user stated, sleeping on my back seemed to trigger it.

Before falling asleep, that exact moment when you fall asleep I would feel this bizarre sensation overwhelm me. At first I could see what I can only describe as a "grunge" like art, and what I would visualize would be this art work mixed with gore, and objects, boxes, squares, would become overwhelmingly large, but on a level my brain couldn't comprehend, or extremely small. The size would rapidly increase and shrink, and then I would feel as if my entire core was being pulled downward, into my bed perhaps.

This would only last for a matter of seconds, and I knew it was coming. By then I would never be able to pull myself out of this and before I knew it, I was asleep.

Now, according to my previous psychologist, my hallucinations were triggered by sound, and I have to sleep with a fan on, and a loud one at that. The white noise would be distorted while I slept and apparently triggered the incoming hallucination.

When I would awake in the night, it was usually different. Sometimes I would suddenly see giant pillars collapsing onto me, and during their decent I was unable to move, unable to do anything. Just as these pillars would collide into me, I would awake screaming my brains out.

Other times, example of my recent episode, I awoke in the middle of the night, and knew immediately it had started and I was about to see something that would scare the pants off of me. I remember looking around, at first being still, I remember hearing my boyfriend snoring, and I tried to wake him up. When I tried to move my arm to shake him, I immediately *fell asleep* and awoke after the attempt to move.
When I tried to speak, the same thing happened. This was different than I had remembered the first ones, as I was in a panic the entire time and wasn't entirely aware of what was going on. I noticed that I couldn't move, NOT because I was paralyzed, but I was quite literally falling in and out of consciousness whenever I attempted to move or speak. I noticed it on my third attempt to speak what was really happening.
Then the hallucination started, I began to see a young girl walking from my bathroom to the end of my bed. My only feeling was I was going to die, and this little girl was going to brutally murder me. I ended up waking up the next morning and refused to sleep for almost 36 hours before I finally napped during the day. I knew what I saw wasn't real, but at the same time, I didn't want to have to deal with it.

Sorry if that was an incredibly boring read; but the fear that I feel when these "episodes" happen are mortifying. I have never experienced such fear from any event I have ever partaken in, in my entire life. Everything is so vivid, and I can only hope whoever does experience sleep paralysis, doesn't experience horrible hallucinations with it.
