Re: I Know I Am Stirring Up a Hornet's Nest Here
Summery: You make stupid ignorant comment and claim you "Know" something. I challange you with a leading question in a polite way. You toss out a half brained question thinking it's a "gotcha" moment. I show you how ignorant and biased your question is. You flame me.... I laugh at your flame... you flame me some more.... I show you what a loser douchebag you are and you still think flaming me with insults really hurts.... Coming from you it's like a monkey in the zoo crapping in his little monkey paw and throwing shit. Sure, you may get a bit on me... And I agree your comments stink. But in the end.... , you're still a shit throwing monkey... Of course... I can understand why you throw shit.. That's all you have. |

Re: I Know I Am Stirring Up a Hornet's Nest Here
If by that you mean I proved that you were right about me being arrogant? Fair enough. It's hard to be humble when I am reading posts by shit throwing monkeys who can only post insults. As for being pretentious, I have never said I was anything but a welder. But I am interested in a great many things and I don't mind reading up on a topic. Just because you can toss out insults instead of substance doesn't mean you won anything unless you are going for the dank bush of dooshbag awards. I do notice you are a long way off of the topic and into personal attacks. You couldn't stay on topic even though you claimed to know so much. Winning a debate means proving your assertions. The only assertion you are making here is that I am an asshole. So what!. Why don't you make a thread about that? I suppose proving I am a jackass and all the above you charged me with makes you a great person? Nah.. It just shows you are a great shit throwing monkey and that's all you have. I will have to admit... at throwing shit... you win. So you get the shit throwing award. |

Re: I Know I Am Stirring Up a Hornet's Nest Here
Actually you could be partly right. Read the article more closely. This boy was formed of an unfertilized egg and a fertilized egg as near as they could tell. Perhaps the fertilized egg absorbed the unfertilized egg and both continued to developed to the formation of a person. It's weird but here we have it happen. Scripture does say that Yehoshuah was not visually desirable. However he did show remarkable insight, was having theological discussions with the leading Rabbis in the Tabernacle grounds for his Bat Mitzvah at the age of 13. So he could not be considered mentally retarded in anyway. Even if one dismisses the notion of his divinity his life was remarkable by all accounts. |

Re: I Know I Am Stirring Up a Hornet's Nest Here
First, above all their other failings, communists are prone to oversimplification. Complex problems of the real world are explained in simplistic terms. From this mindset the communist eschatology of a classless society leads them to believe that collectivization is the main source of human happiness. Never mind the fact that every human being has different - and often opposing - dreams, goals and desires. They also believe that all problems of labor can be resolved by nationalization of all industries and the banning of private ownership. This saps the human spirit of the will to excel. This simplistic outlook spills into their belief about moral issues. Since communism is the ultimate good, anyone who is opposed to it must necessarily be evil. Like religious fundamentalists, to the communists everything is in black and white. "You are either with us or against us." Communism resembles very closely the dogmatic faith of a religious fundamentalist. It has, like other fundamentalist religions, a list of sacred writings known as the "communist classics". Infallible authority is ascribed to these writings. It pretends to represent the absolute truth by calling itself a "science". Yet it proceeds in the manner of a faith. Einstein even commented on this: Albert Einstein, Out Of My Later Years: "One strength of the Communist system ...is that it has some of the characteristics of a religion and inspires the emotions of a religion." |
