Another great post and info.
I was always fascinated by this case. He was a first class murderous, torturous nutter.
I wish there had been more [any] interviews recorded whilst he was in prison. I think it would be interesting to see psychological evaluations every few years. What drugs prisoners where given, stuff like that.

very very few of these type people have the need to try to help society in anyway.... so to expect, hope, or assume that they may want to contribute to researchers in the field tend to be far and few ... and when they do want to talk.... they usually make wild claims..

People like Heidnik are why I think the death penalty is warranted in certain cases. Killers such as these can never be rehabilitated and they're just a waste of resources which could go to others instead!
