This file concerns the 2004 murder of Dr. Eugene Mallove in Norwich, Connecticut. The Norwich Police Department asked the FBI Laboratory to compare fabric samples and jersey materials with photographed blood-like transfer patterns found on Mallove's clothing. The released records include a police request for examination, evidence inventories, laboratory correspondence, and a February 2010 trace-evidence report. The FBI examiner found the submitted fabric impressions from the jersey samples dissimilar to the impressions depicted in the photographs, and the release also includes a deleted-page sheet covering 103 pages.
