FBI offices in New York and Chicago reviewed the allegation, searched bureau and local records, and examined the March 1953 issue of Other Worlds. The records identify the magazine's Evanston, Illinois publisher as Clark Publishing Company and list Palmer as its treasurer, alongside officers Curtis Fuller and Mary Margaret Fuller. The review found no identifiable derogatory information on Palmer or the publication and reported that the issue examined did not promote a peace-at-any-price or Soviet theme.
