This is silly. Unless they've also taken crash courses in Spanish, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian etc... how are they supposed to get an accurate measure of any sort when most of the world doesn't even speak English?

The trouble is with Indian Call Centres,because many consider it a career and want to keep their jobs,they NEVER go off script.If you have a problem that doesn't fit the script,they have no way to deal with it.I'm NEVER rude to staff because I know it must be a shitty job.But when they constantly pass you to another dept because they have no initiative,it tries your patience.One guy even hung up on me!Malaysian customer reps are great:they listen and are polite and go that extra mile.If I DO get good help from an Indian rep,it's all fine.I'm not racist and have NEVER used the term 'brown bastard'.I just hate shitty,can't-be-arsed,no initiative service-and alas Indian Call Centres seem to fall into that category most-not ALL- of the time.
