The Great War and its aftermath did more sow the seeds of World War 2 than any other factor. From the border changes to the debt repayments to the anarchy and riots, the road to World War 2 was paved in the blood of each Nation's commoners and peasants.

That's right. If it hadn't been for WWI, Hitler would have had (wtf syntax is that? Is it correct?) a very hard time convinsing the Germans to follow him.

Considering how bad the middle east is getting and the Major alliances involved, I thought I would bump these old pics to remind people how the cost of war. WWI was started by the assassination of a minor noble by a minor political reactionary that ended up causing 2 major alliances to go into meat grinder mode due to the obligations of those alliances. Now we have a full fuck on civil war in Syria that, because of major alliances and obligations, could drag us into another death fest that could just end it all. 2012? Wait for 2013. |
