WARNING! Children!! WW2 Head Hunter Pics
My fiance inherited a photo album from her older cousin's estate. I thought the members would like to see these. I can contribute at last. On the back of the photos they have descriptions about the Niger or Nager head hunters of Burma. The other picture is of a dead Japanese soldier. Sorry if I put these in the wrong section. |

The description was misspelled on the back. They were the Naga tribe. This page talks about them. http://www.burma-richard.org/2014/11...burma.html?m=1 |

Re: WARNING! Children!! WW2 Head Hunter Pics
I found some info on these pictures. It says they took children's heads because they were seen as more valuable, in a sense. One child's head equalled many adult heads because children were harder to get to because they were protected by the parents. Here is the website that talks about these very photos posted! http://www.classicalvalues.com/archi...ional_way.html |
