Re: Waffen SS Beheading By Axe (circa 1944)
I have to say, it's awful seeing anyone die, especially when it's murder... however, I simply don't understand why anyone would come to this site and accuse others of being heartless. Everyone deals with death differently, and the fact that all of us have even taken the effort to come to this site--and take the steps to sign up--means that we all have a morbid curiosity. None of us have a right to judge others; we are all sitting around in front of a fucking computer looking at pictures and videos of people dead or dying. Hop off your high horses. The only explanation I can see for the overly "moral" people are a.) they're trolls (and that's funny), or b.) they're hypocrites with a one-sided form of empathy, or unlikely, c.) they're people who joined this site simply to scold others for being so "heartless". Like I said, all of these pictures are "sad"... this is a site where pics and vids of death are posted! In wars, for example, some people deal with the death of their fellow soldiers by crying, some cope by praying, some cope by cracking morbid jokes, some cope by doing and saying nothing. And any and all combinations. Check out "The Things They Carried" by Tim O'Brien to see a literal, objective and personal account of what it means to see death and cope with it. |
