Apparently the 24th Waffen SS Mountain Division. By this time, the Waffen SS was enlisting volunteers from all nationalities... and got them. If so, this would be in northern Italy. The SS-Rottenführer in the first European (as opposed to Asian) photo would likely be German, though, or at least an ethnic German from Italy. The rest could be ethnic German Italians, Croatians, Serbians or Slovenians. These "mutt" formations were resented by the original Waffen SS, which for all their brutality, "pure" or "mutt," seems to be a quibble but it was incentive for the "mutt" formations to out-do their rivals.

Iv just realized something. I have read A LOT of posts on different websites trying to disprove the fact that 6 million jews died etc... & that the German soliders hardly did anything to the Jews, they just died of starvation due to the war and all that bullshit. I could of just posted these pictures with "shut the fuck up" underneath. Fucking idiots  |
