It's strange how some people responded positively to lobotomies while others became walking bags of mush. I suppose it depends on the health of the person before the procedure, what kinds of meds they were on and whether they were given ECT or not.

 Slugs and snails are after meDDT keeps me happy Now I guess I'll have to tell 'em That I got no cerebellum Gonna get my Ph.D. I'm a teenage lobotomy So is this what Rosemary Kennedy was forced to go through? Sickening.  I'm a big fan of a lot of the ghost hunting-type shows, and almost every place these people go to that used to be an asylum, hospital, or sanitarium seems to be filled with stories of lobotomies being performed in the hundreds.....

<3 My sister once told her grandma that she was going to give her a lobotomy with a straight razor and a bendy straw. I think that's how all lobotomies should have been preformed. Bendy straws always make the situation better. |
