Actually, I find it rather amusing. We had a guy from the UK at my High School . . . oh so many centuries ago . . . and he had the cutest accent! He was cockney.
"Eye, dere! 'Ey, Love! 'Ow's loif trighten ya?" Just loved it! Too cute! Needless to say, he pretty much got his way in just about everything.
