I don't believe you. My great-grandpa was murdered by the Germans, he was a simple Polish railway worker. They were civilized enough to send a letter informing of his death. And my grandma also spoke about it - once. She told me how she went to Majdanek camp with her mother, after it was liberated by the Soviets in summer 1944. In the long pits, in the summer heat, hundreds of local people looked for their loved ones in the rotting soup. My grandma was 9 years old. So don't tell me how civilized the Germans were.
