Hitler wasn't a great leader. He was a powerful orator and great spokesman for the Nazi Party... and that's about it. He left all the important governmental work to those below him. He didn't have any experience in the workings of a country, spending most of his time sleeping late into the day, deep in paranoia about his physical health and whether he could trust those around him.
