Mütter Museum (Part 1, 16 Pics)
The Mütter Museum is a medical museum in Philly and there are a few books about it, wich i find very interesting. you can learn more here:

the funny mannequin head is a so called "vienna eye phantom"

they would take eyes from animals, put them in there, flip the switch so the eyes stay in the head and then train on it

The Mütter Museum acquired this collection of 139 human skulls from Viennese anatomist Joseph Hyrtl (1810-1894) in 1874. Hyrtl’s aim in collecting and studying the skulls was to show that cranial anatomy varied widely in the Caucasian population of Europe. His work was an attempt to counter the claims of phrenologists, who held that cranial features were evidence of intelligence and personality and that racial differences caused anatomical differences.

very cool videos, i need to visit that museum once in my life :D

so in austria this isnt very unusual for medical studys nearly every university has some stuff like that, and if i get the chance (i might get) i could visit a university with a lot of that stuff. i would of course bring my camera so i can share it with you
