There IS another way but people are too scared to use it, because of course it means using PEOPLE. The jails are full of scum...use them. We are testing for things to make humans live longer, kill human diseases etc, then what better than to test those things on frigging humans. Humans who have waived their human rights by committing awful crimes against others? I see nothing wrong with that myself.

That was Hitler's reasoning also.

even if valid information was gathered from these experiments (which isn't true), there are ethical standards for experiments and such discoveries can be made in ethical ways.

Yeah, but the real question is not whether there are ethical alternatives, but whether or not data gathered by unethical means should be used afterwards.
