I don't know where some of you are getting your info from, but not a single valid scientific experiment was carried out in the camps, N-O-T-H-I-N-G was learned, and the medical community was not enriched by what these psychopaths in lab coats did.

Look at what one of the doctors did at the Natzweiler-Struthof camp in France. He asked for 88 Jews to be gassed, then skinned down to the bare skeleton so that once all the Jews were gone, they could be part of an exhibit about an extinct race.

I noticed the experiments intensified after Reinhard Heydrich was assassinated. Penicillin wasn't available yet in Germany and Himmler's personal doc (who was hanged at the Doctor's trial) wanted to test the efficiency of sulfanomide drugs and see if they could have helped him. So mainly at Ravensbreuck, political prisoners were selected for experiments in which their limbs were slashed, some of them down to the bone, then bits of wood, glass and metal were rubbed into the wounds to simulate combat conditions. They would also remove limbds and bones to see if transplantation was viable.

Mengele, we all know, had a thing for twins. He would try to sew them together to create Siamese twins, and on many occasions if one of the twins died, he would have the other one killed and autopsy the body to see if their internal organs were identical. Prisoners were deliberately exposed to mustard gas to see which treatment would be most effective. They would be dunked into freezing cold tubs then the doctors would try to see what the best way of warming them up was. They sterilized thousands of women at Ravensbreuck with no anesthetics. They made them drink sea water. The doctors exposed them to phosphorus taken from incendiary bombs. Look at these pictures from the sulfonamide/nerve and limp transplant experiments:

I've read books about Heydrich and Mengele, never underestimate mans inhumanity to man.

Thinking about the gypsies that were given seawater to drink that licked freshly mopped floors for freshwater brings emotions to me even today.

The judges presiding came from the United States, China, the United Kingdom, Australia, the Netherlands, France, the Soviet Union, New Zealand, India and the Philippines. Additionally, the Chinese Communists also held a number of trials for Japanese personnel. More than 4,400 Japanese personnel were convicted and about 1,000 were sentenced to death.
