How do you figure? We nuked them because if we had invaded, even the women and children would've fought like men. Then there's the human wave charges, the kamikaze tactics...that all seems pretty manly to me.

They say that in some places where the people were just vaporized in an instant, they left shadows on nearby buildings. I'd love to see pictures of that!

I don't think they had to be vaporized for that to happen. The shadows result from the person obscuring the heat from the blast as it scorches the side of the building. Since the person is blocking said heat, the unscorched part of the building conforms to the outline of their body.
