I had that, had surgery in both eyes in 1998. Had a great dr. never had a problem, no more prisums in my glasses and now can wear contacts.

This is my first post ever here, so first of all "hi" :) I've been a member for nearly a year but always just browse and get creeped out normally. My little girl has strabismus as well. She has been in glasses since roughly 18 months old at my insistence and now has been in glasses AND patching for about 6 months. It's a lot of work and I don't know if we'll have to go the surgical route eventually. It's improving, but slooooowly. Good to know we're not alone :) And it's good to get this first post out of the way too! Nice to meet ya'll! |
