Re: Afghanistan
And your experience with the people in Afghanistan would be? Oh that's right, you're another one of those chair commandos that knows everything without stepping foot onto foreign soil. We cannot help for one moment what lifestyle we are born into, but you can make it better for you and those around, IF you want too. The problem is that many of our troops have given the ultimate sacrifice trying to give these people a better life, yet they choose to stay where they are and then bitch that we didn't try. We build a road they destroy it, we build a school, they blow it the fuck up. Many soldiers are not trying to rub our western lifestyles on them, they're just trying to make the lives of the people a little easier and safer. Next time you wish to call my husband "undereducated" come say it to my face. |

Re: Afghanistan
Kudo's to your Husband for trying, but they don't understand what a Democracy is or how it works..... You can't help people who don't know what help looks like. This is why I would never join the Military. You could wind up in a hopeless war for no good reason, fighting for people who don't even want you there. |
