The short version;

Prepare to become a lot more paranoid about what the National Security Agency can access. By filling out a basic online form that isn't reviewed by a court or an NSA representative, agents can use a program called XKeyscore to search emails, chats, browsing histories and pretty much anything else "a typical user does on the Internet." A typical user, like, say, you. The program also allows searches of social media, such as Facebook chats and messages. Evidently, whistleblower Edward Snowden wasn't embellishing when he stated that, from his desk, he could "wiretap anyone, from you or your accountant, to a federal judge or even the president, if I had a personal email." Of course, that includes potential bad guys. According to NSA documents, by 2008, XKeyscore had enabled the capture of 300 terrorists.

The 911 attacks were horrible, but our reaction has been even worse. Wasted billions in a bullshit war, billions more creating spy agencies that spy on US, billions more and endless bullshit going through the increased security at airports etc etc.

This was the bigger goal of the terrorists, to make us all scared, to restrict our freedoms, and attack us FINANCIALLY...... Which is why they targeted the WT Center.
The more of this shot that happens, the more they win...... We're just giving them what they want.
I know statistically I'm more likely to die from falling off a ladder or getting hit by lightning than die in a terror attack, fuck them. And fuck people that take away my privacy in the name of keeping me safe, I was safe before 911 and I'm safe now too no thanks to Government spying on me.
