I know of the, "Alien Hand Syndrome," but, I've seen it with Parkinson's patients, not strokes.

I remember reading a story years ago of some guy that used a chainsaw to chop his right leg off cause no doctor would do it. A bit drastic but these people with Body Integrity Identity Disorder are pretty damn determined.
