Odd that someone in HR in a company that represents other major companies would try to pull a stunt like this. Bad PR for both the company and clients, Think Adria Richards and that shitstorm she created and wound up getting her fired. If this is the right profile and her company is currently repping Scholastic Inc. , that might be bad news for a company that's focused on school age children's media products. Something else is up here, why would someone that probably makes over 150k a year take a chance on losing her job or harming client's and her firm's reputation by association? Maybe it's the wrong profile, nether the less, any HR professional would probably terminate anyone that sullied the company's reputation. I wouldn't doubt that auntie is going to have an interesting discussion with upper management after all the bad worldwide press that erupted this morning.

Now she's talking to the media. None of it makes sense. She's claiming that she had to sue because the family's homeowner's insurance only offered her a dollar. So, a person with a high end Manhattan firm doesn't have their own medical insurance? I've never heard of a health insurer forcing a subrogation on to a home owner's policy. Even if they did, it would be a legal challenge by one insurer against another and not involving the injured party. She would have no business independently suing the homeowner's insurance like she claims she had to do. She's probably right in saying CT state law prevents that. She claimed she said nothing during the party. That means she could have received treatment when she got back to new york under her medical insurance or could have visted a hospital in CT where it would have been out of network probably, but the insurance would still pay and not say anything about the family or kid except she fell. Why make an issue with your family's homeowner's policy? This doesn't add up.
