if you can afford a house but not a bank account.. you can atleast afford a SAFE.. they're totally inexpensive.. heck you can even get a lock box..

A safe is a great idea... let's a burglar know where the valuable stuff is without having to look around... and a lot of wall safes are small enough to just take with you to break or unlock later... I'd never use a safe unless it was one of those massive ones that can go under floorboards.
