It still floors me about the woman who sued McDonald's and WON because she dumped hot coffee in her lap and the cup didn't say it was hot.  How do you not know coffee is fucking hot?

She "sustained a loss of life's enjoyment" due to Dunkin' Donuts' "defective product."?? Those pesky Dunkin Donuts... Always destroying peoples lives  I don't think artificial sweeteners taste anything like sugar. I would have had one sip and returned it. Also, as other people have pointed out, I have never heard of a diabetic person react that violently to a bit of sugar... unless she also put a few donuts in her coffee >.> |

I drank a cup of hot cocoa when I was about 4, got it from mcd's.. and my dumbass decided to drink it with a straw.. had it fresh and it was so hot it blistered the inside of my mouth. My mom was like, "Well, now you know to not drink hot drinks with a straw." And she was right... I think she was more worried her kid was drinking hot chocolate with a straw then mcd's serving hot chocolate that was actually you know.. hot. |
