Re: Woman Found Mummified After 6 Years in Car
I'm sad to say, I'll probably die without anyone noticing. I don't have many friends and those I do have don't call often, except one. I probably won't be missed for at least a week. Doubt it will be six years though.

Re: Woman Found Mummified After 6 Years in Car
I read she was from Germany and had an estranged sister. Maybe the rest of her family is still in Germany? I was wondering too about the key hanging out of the ignition. Is it possible for it to slowly slip out over 6 years? I also thought it was odd she was in the backseat. The only reason I go in the backseat of my car is if I'm cleaning it. It's very sad though. But I guess it makes sense that she wasn't found for so long. Her bills were auto-paid, she traveled a lot, a neighbor mowed her lawn. The strange thing is her employer not noticing she wasn't showing up for work anymore, unless she quit? Also, I wonder how much money she had in her bank if the money only recently ran out. Also, as far as the police welfare check, they should be required to make contact with the person. This isn't the first time I've heard about a welfare check being performed and a body found later. |

Re: Woman Found Mummified After 6 Years in Car
Soon as i saw this on the news i went straight here I cant figure why she was in the back seat with the doors closed and the key halfway in the ignition? maybe it was a suicide but at the last second before unconsciousness she made an attempt to turn the car off while sitting in the back seat but it was already too late she was to drowsy and her attempt took the keys out a little and she flopped back into the back seat and succumbed to the CO? Or she had the car running before she opened the garage and by the time she tried to get in the car she was so disoriented that she got in the back and realized something was wrong and made an attempt to turn the car off ? Since CO poisoning causes Neurological signs that include confusion, disorientation, visual disturbance, syncope and seizures.I dot know ? I’ve tried to figure this in my head it's a weird thing to happen, also she must have had a pretty decent savings account to have her bills going on being paid by auto pay for six years.
